Before you travel
Only share trips you are already making
This is a carpooling board, not a taxi service. Post the journey you were going to drive anyway and let others split it with you.
Agree the details before you leave
Confirm the meeting point, the departure time and what each passenger chips in directly with the driver. Nothing is booked or paid through GradNetwork.
Never send money in advance
Pay the driver in person, on the day. Treat any request for a deposit from someone you have not met as a red flag.
Keep it to sharing the cost
Ask for a fair share of fuel, tolls and parking. Carrying passengers regularly for profit needs a cantonal transport licence in Switzerland — that is not what this board is for.
GradNetwork lists the trips; it does not vet drivers or passengers, insure the journey or take a cut. Drivers, check that your insurance covers carrying passengers before you post.
