About the clinic

cereneo treats people with stroke, Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions in a purpose-built clinic on the shores of Lake Lucerne. The programme combines intensive therapy with clinical research — patients train with robotics and rehabilitation technology while clinicians track progress with standardised assessments. Because the clinic is connected to the Campus Hotel Hertenstein, patients stay in hotel-grade accommodation and keep access to 24/7 nursing care. cereneo also offers outpatient rehabilitation and continued online therapy after discharge, and runs a research partnership with University Hospital Zurich. Its roughly 175 patients a year come from Switzerland and abroad, and it accepts referrals through Swiss health insurance and international private cover.
